Kimberly became a Massage Therapist in 1999 with a primary focus of migraine relief, soft tissue injury, shoulder dysfunction, low back pain, teen sports massage, and prenatal therapy. Her background as a medical assistant in addition with her time working in a chiropractor’s office has given her an in depth understanding of anatomy and physiology. Kimberly addresses muscle restrictions by thoroughly lengthening muscle fibers and releasing trigger points, therefore relieving chronic pain. Kimberly has dedicated herself to the study of postural and biomechanical dysfunctions related to overuse, especially with regard to the shoulders and neck, with hopes to help those who suffer from migraines and acute and chronic neck and shoulder pain.
Kimberly also holds advanced training focusing in women undergoing fertility treatments. Many women understand the benefit of prenatal massage to naturally ease pain and discomfort, but Kimberly also wants to advocate the importance of massage for women who suffer from fertility issues such as: PCOS, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids. Specializing in fertility massage enables her to increase circulation to the ovaries, therefore breaking up stagnation and softening the scar tissue, therefore, reducing pain naturally and effectively.
